R1ZE ATHLETIC ACADEMY embodies commitment, discipline, and consistency at all levels. Becoming a high level athlete goes far beyond shear physical ability. We preach mental toughness and being an all around individual at R1ZE. Athletics transcend into all aspects of life which is why we stress the importance of being a student athlete, part of which includes maintaining a high GPA. Dilveer Randhawa is a R1ZE athlete that truly embodies hard-work, consistency and perseverance. In Dilveer’s senior season at Abbotsford Senior Secondary he produced multiple 50 point games where he put the entire province on notice. Dilveer also recorded a 50 point triple double and led his team to the Provincials.
Dilveer is a top prospect in the class of 2023 and a top guard in British Columbia. DIlveer has recently committed to the London Basketball Academy in Ontario for the 2023/2024 season.

R1ZE basketball is offered for all age groups and skill levels. Our goal is to help the next generation unlock their potential, whether you are a beginner or an experienced athlete, we have specialized coaches dedicated to provide a skills training program that focuses on building foundational basketball skills as well as mentoring the youth.
We are dedicated to improving not only your child’s basketball skills but also instilling important values such as discipline, teamwork, and leadership which is vital in unleashing the true potential of a student athlete. Our training encourages our kids to set goals and work towards achieving them, promoting a growth mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.

YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL
Join our dynamic flag football program and discover the thrill of the game while honing your skills on the field. From beginners to seasoned players, we're here to empower and inspire the next generation of gridiron stars.
We will be coaching essential movements and techniques for football including speed, agility, change of direction, throwing & catching. Our coaches have extensive experience playing football and excelling at the university level. No previous football experience needed, all levels are welcome.

R1ZE Co-Founders
The Co-founders of R1ZE Athletic Academy are Nishan and Baltej Dhanoya. Nishan and Baltej both grew up in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, they both went on to play basketball and football at Terry Fox Secondary.
After graduating from high school, they received scholarships from various universities in Canada. Nishan Dhanoya attended Simon Fraser University where he studied Kinesiology with a course focus in human motor learning, anatomy and physiology, sport psychology, and biomechanics. Baltej Dhanoya went on to play for the Langley Rams of the CJFL where he captured a British Columbia Football Conference Championship in 2018. Baltej currently is on the coaching staff of the Rams as well. Nishan and Baltej are very passionate about athletics, sports have cultivated success in their lives and taught them invaluable life lessons which they are looking to pass on to the next generation.

Co-FounderNishan Dhanoya is a Co-Founder of R1ZE Athletic Academy. Nishan has had a passion for athletics from a very young age. By implementing discipline and consistency on a daily basis Nishan was able to excel both in the classroom and on the court/field.
After graduating from Terry Fox Secondary Nishan attended Simon Fraser University where he had a course focus on human motor learning, anatomy and physiology, sports psychology and biomechanics within the BPK discipline.
Nishan truly lives what he preaches as he has a strong commitment to both health and fitness. His primary focus is to give back all of the knowledge that he has learned over the years to help student athletes excel in sports, the classroom, and in life.

Co-FounderBaltej Dhanoya is a Co-Founder of R1ZE Athletic Academy. Baltej has a very decorated resume in accordance to his football career. Baltej also attended Terry Fox Secondary where he was a standout football player for the Terry Fox Ravens.
After graduating, Baltej played for the Langley Rams of the Canadian Junior Football League. in 2018 Baltej captured his first championship winning the British Columbia Football Conference Championship. Baltej received various scholarship offers from Canadian Universities which include the University of Calgary, University of Toronto, McMasters University, and others.
Baltej’s goal is to help all athletes reach their potential as he likes to stress the importance of perseverance as his own story is nothing less of dedication and determination.
